Focus are pleased to launch a new concept of Labelling utilising its latest LX Letterflex and TagTrans^TM silk screen technologies for the production of specialised Transfer Papers for Apparel & decorative transfers. TagTrans^TM is a trademark of Focus Label Machinery Ltd.

Focus has developed its own unique, ink, paper chemistry and printing transfer technology in order to stick the entire image to the garment or fabric, eliminating the need of a sew in label.

The beauty of the LX machine is that it can be used to produce high quality complex multi-colour transfers (4 Colour Process Images) from Roll to Roll with only the adhesive layer required to be applied by traditional Silk Screen methods. Focus can provide a proven system that is small enough to be sited in strategic global positions to supply local garment manufacturers.

TagTrans^TM Prints are presented in rolls or sheets ready to be applied onto the fabric with the application of heat and pressure. The application process typically takes about two to five seconds, depending on the manufacturer’s process and the type of fabric. The tag constitutes an ultra-thin layer of specially formulated adhesive and lettering, which results in a sharp image being fixed permanently to the fabric. Standard practice calls for the labels to be durable enough to withstand 50 washes as well as dry cleaning.

Heat transfer labels that can be applied to polyester, polyethylene, leather, spandex and nylon. The latest developments in the technology have enabled these tags to be applied to thin low weight fabrics, such as those used in lingerie, minimising and see-through effect.
